Mission Statement

The legendary Carson Colt’s Youth Football and Cheer

The Carson Colt’s Athletics Association is operated in harmony with the Community of Carson. The Board is committed to the intellectual, cultural, physical, and social development of the youth athletes in excelling in Flag Football, Tackle Football and Cheer. The Board encourages hard work, team loyalty, good sportsmanship, and personal honesty; an appreciation for the benefits of hard work, motivation, and perseverance; and a feeling of pride in accomplishment. It is the Boards belief that these qualities lead to accomplishment in academics and athletics and to the attainment of skills necessary for continued learning throughout life.

Based on the above philosophy, the Board of Carson Colt’s Youth Football and Cheerleading operate under the following mandates:

* To recruit Coaches of moral character, greater athletic ability, and intellectual competency to succeed academically.

* To produce athletics and Cheer teams which are positive representatives of the Community and strive for Championships.

In order to accomplish these mandates, the Carson Colt’s Athletics Association is committed to the following objectives:

  1. To teach area Kids Football and Cheer who possess the ability to work hard.
  2. To support the educational opportunities of the kids, with the ultimate objective of enchasing their skills both in the classroom and on the field.
  3. To assume an active role in enabling young athletes to meet the demands of both academic life and athletic competition.
  4. To maintain a high-quality staff who support and uphold the Boards philosophy.
  5. To maintain a coaching staff which represents the best in athletic and cheer instruction and possesses the ability to motivate and inspire student athletes in their charge.
  6. To encourage and provide continuing assistance for the coaching staffs.
  7. To establish and enforce standards of conduct for all young athletes and staff which create a positive image for the Carson Community.
  8. To compete on a high level in all sports and cheer within the By-laws established by governing bodies.
  9. To offer extensive opportunities for participation in youth interscholastic athletics for both boys and girls in cheer.
  10. To rise the revenue necessary through fund raising and donations both corporate and private to support our operations, staff and facilities.
  11. To adhere to the letter and spirit of the rules and regulations set forth by the organizations for which we participate.
  12. To develop an appreciation for diversity and provide opportunity for kids that continues at a higher level.
